Nakuru

The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for the Flamingos that flock to its shores to feed on the cyano bacteria that live in its alkaline waters. It is a very important breeding ground and stop over for many species of birds. In addition to the rhino, flamingos and leopard which are commonly seen here (and not commonly seen elsewhere!) other animals such as pelicans, lion, giraffe, lion, bat-eared fox, hippo, hyena etc are all there too.

Masai MaraSimply put, it is the best destination in Kenya for viewing wildlife - and lots of it! The Masai Mara is home to a great wildlife spectacle, as sometime between August and November more than two million wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti in search of water and grazing. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This refers to the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti, north to the Mara in search of water and pasture. More than 1.5 million are estimated to take part in this great movement. This action is known as "Natures passion play" It occurs between the month of July and august. In October, when the reserve experiences short rains, the animals return south.

Ol Pejeta ConservancyOl Pejeta Conservancy (informally known as Sweetwaters) is East Africa’s Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees and holds some of the highest predator densities in Kenya. It is situated between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snowcapped Mount Kenya, an area considered to be semi-arid. The Conservancy covers an area of 90,000 acres of the previously privately owned Ol Pejeta ranch, now known as the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
